Keane To Open For U2!

Keane have confirmed they will also be playing dates with U2 on the "Vertigo Tour" this summer. The band, who had a massive year in 2004 and have been sweeping awards ceremonies recently, will be main support to U2 at shows in Munich, Nice, Barcelona and Lisbon. Already confirmed to play with U2 at other shows in Europe are The Killers and Snow Patrol. Too bad they won't open for U2 in the U.S.!

DualDisc

For those that went to the concession stands after the concerts, you may have noticed the DualDisc recordings of "Hopes And Fears." On one side of the disc is the CD audio, while on the other side of the disc is the DVD video. I bought one at the Boston show in February for $20.00, which also included an album sleeve signed by Tom, Tim, and Richard. Not a bad deal!

Keane On MTV

In case you haven't seen it, MTV has a page on Keane where you can watch a couple videos and listen to "Somewhere Only We Know." You can also download Keane ringtones, just don't buy the CD at $14.57, eventhough it's worth it.

Not a bad name for the new album...not really...The guys are hard at work on a new album. They're taking their time though, which is always a good thing when it comes to making a record.
