Keaneblog Being Relaunched

Hey Everyone!
Sorry for the lack of updates recently.
Keaneblog will be relaunched soon, so watch this space.
Unfortunately, someone trying to make money off the domain keaneblog.com took it before I renewed it, so the site name may change.
Keane fans interested in joining this site as a poster should e-mail us at keaneblog@gmail.com
Thank you!

Is it Any Wonder...

I like the new song but I don't care much for the video. It does sound a lot like U2 so I wonder if the sound was influenced from touring with them. There has not been much activity on this blog so I thought I would just post a message about the new album. I'm excited to hear how Try Again and Hamburg Song sound polished up and recorded. Anyone else?

Strangers...the Documentary!!!

Keane has announced the release of their documentary STRANGERS on November 14th in the U.K. and November 15th in the U.S. The documentary will feature 16 live performances among other extras. If you are lucky enough to be living in the U.K. the band has announced that tickets will be given away for exclusive screenings in select cinema. Visit www.keanemusic.com for more details. I'm not sure how to get my hands on this hot little DVD here in Canada, so I would suggest contacting your local HMV or ordering it online from HMV or Amazon. I can't wait!!!!

New Music on Morning Becomes Eclectic!!!

Keane was on KCRW's "Morning Becomes Eclectic" on September 29th, 2005 and they played three new songs along with several from "Hopes and Fears." For those of us not living in the UK (or who missed the broadcast), visit KCRW and enjoy. The new songs that they performed were, "Hamburg Song," "Nothing in Your Way" and "Try Again" (my favorite of the three). Happy listening!!!

Still Opening For U2

This is a perfect match: U2 and Keane. I was at the October 3rd show in Boston when Keane opened for U2...What an amazing show. Keane is currently opening for U2 in their stint in New York. Consider yourself lucky if you can catch one of these shows.
